Cookie Policy
How the Cohesta website uses cookies and browser storage.

What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how the Cohesta website uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage.
Our approach is deliberately minimal: the site sets no advertising cookies. We use the storage the site needs to function, the storage used by the video player on the home page, and — only with your permission — Google Analytics.
What we store
The full inventory of storage used by this website:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cohesta-consent | Local storage | Records the cookie choice you made, so we do not ask again. | Strictly necessary | 12 months, then we ask again |
| wistia | Local storage (Wistia) | Video player on the home page — a viewer ID and player state, used to deliver the video and measure views. | Video player | Until you clear site data |
| wistia-video-progress-… | Local storage (Wistia) | Video player on the home page — remembers your playback position. | Video player | Until you clear site data |
| _ga | Cookie (Google) | Google Analytics — distinguishes visitors. Set only after you opt in. | Analytics (optional) | 13 months |
| _ga_GWDF66Z9QK | Cookie (Google) | Google Analytics — maintains session state. Set only after you opt in. | Analytics (optional) | 13 months |
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which serves files without setting cookies.
Your choices
- Accept all — allows Google Analytics in addition to the storage described above.
- Reject non-essential — Google Analytics stays off and no analytics cookies are set.
- Manage preferences — choose per category. Your choice is saved and can be changed at any time via , also linked in the footer.
Rejecting analytics never affects your ability to use the site. You can also clear all site data at any time in your browser settings.
Video player
The product video on the home page is hosted by Wistia. When that page loads, the Wistia player stores a viewer ID and your playback position in this browser's local storage, and Wistia receives playback events together with standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We use this to deliver the video and to see how often it is watched.
This storage is set when the home page loads and is not switched on or off by the cookie preferences on this site. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. Wistia, Inc. processes this data on our behalf.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It is switched off by default and loads only after you opt in — no analytics cookies are set beforehand. We configure it with Google signals and ad personalization disabled, and we honour withdrawal at any time via Cookie settings, which also removes the analytics cookies. Consent is recorded through Google Consent Mode, so Google tags receive a denied signal until you opt in. Data collected is processed by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC as our processor.
